Sharon O'Dowd

Sharon O'Dowd, born June 29, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on September 1, 2026, in Cincinnati. She was 81.

Sharon will be remembered for the pleasures she found in time well spent and the company of those she loved. She enjoyed dinners out with family and friends, wine tastings, bowling, and golf—simple and joyful pursuits that brought laughter, conversation, and many shared memories across the years.

Above all, Sharon’s life is carried forward in her family. She is survived by her children, Michelle Listro, Bill LaVigne and his wife Lisa. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Casandra Listro, Zach LaVigne, and Nick LaVigne, as well as her great-grandchildren, Alice, Jayden, and Blake Mobarry. May their memories of Sharon remain a lasting source of comfort, warmth, and love.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marc O'Dowd, and by her parents, Arthur McGill and Virginia McGill.

Sharon O'Dowd will be remembered with affection by those who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the family she cherished and in the many moments of happiness she shared with others.

To honor her life, a celebration of life reception will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm at the Wyoming Golf Club (81 Mount Pleasant Ave, Wyoming, Ohio 45215). Family and friends are invited to drop by during these hours to share favorite memories and enjoy light bites and drinks.
