Shirley Ann Detherage

Shirley Detherage (nee Price) 88 years old, passed away peacefully July1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Don of 68 years. Loving mother to Steve (Cindy) Detherage, of the late Jill (Tom) Davis and Holly Grollmus. Loving Grandmother “Mammaw” to Kelly (Josh) Evans, Sarah (Rus) Ray, Andrew Davis, Brian Detherage, Zachary Smith, Noah (Kathleen) Grollmus, Jordan (Christian) Campbell and Naomi (Reid) Rice. Loving Great Grandmother “Mammaw” to Henry and Theo Ray, Michael Evans and Reese Jones. Loving sister of the late William (late Patricia) Price. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents William and Violet (Price) Price.

Shirley worked at Ohio National and enjoyed her time there for many years. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed keeping in touch with her childhood friends. She along with Don started the Bear Ministry (His Hand’s Ministry) program at Christ’s Church at Mason. They enjoyed working on the Bear Ministry program for many years. It gave them great joy to help others.
