Sister Marilyn Rose Dietz

Sister Marilyn Rose Dietz (formerly Sister Mary Declan) sister of the Sisters of Mercy for 67 years.  Daughter of the late Clarence Dietz and Jeanette Scherer Dietz.  Passed away on April 24, 2021 at the age of 86.  Preceded in death by her brother Donald.  Survived by sister-in-law, Mary Lou Dietz, their son, Felix, and his family.  Sister ministered as an elementary teacher and principal.  From 1984-2008, she worked in Texas, California and New Mexico preaching and teaching about the stories of Jesus.  Friends may call at McAuley Convent, 1768 Cedar Avenue, on Monday, May 3 from 3:00-till the Memorial Mass at 6:00.  Memorials may be directed to Sisters of Mercy, McAuley Convent, 1768 Cedar Ave., Cincinnati, OH  45224.
