Stephen P. Helmes, son of the late Paul and Angela Helmes, beloved husband of Carol Helmes for 53 years, loving father to Melissa (Mark) Stricker, brother of Christine Maltbie, Kurt Helmes, and the late Theresa Helmes.
Steve was an Eagle Scout growing up, but always enjoyed all sports. He was a extreme Cincinnati fan following the UC bearcats, Cincinnati Red and Cincinnati Bengals. Steve enjoyed going on cruises as much as possible. He was considered a Masters of Cruises.
Steve passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 73. A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2021, from 1 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd. (Rt 42), West Chester, OH 45069 until time of service at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Alzheimer’s Association
