Sue Ashcraft

Sue Carolyn Ashcraft (nee Perkins) passed away October 24, 2025 at the age of 87 at home surrounded by family members after a long illness. She was born September 15, 1938 in Owen County, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Margaret Perkins. She is survived by her sister Ann Katherine Siders (Dee, deceased), Betty (Don, deceased) Bishop, Barbara Lynn (Gary, deceased) Bishop, Charles (Joanne) Perkins and Stanley Gail Humbert (Jared). Devoted wife to Roger Ashcraft. Devoted mother to Bart (Janine) Dunavent, Kevin Dunavent and step mother to Missy (Ray) Fath. She was grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was also an aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Owen County High School and attended Business School. She moved to Mason, Ohio where she raised her sons. She worked part time for the Mason Schools and then worked full time for the then First Mason Bank which was later bought by Fifth Third Bank. She and Roger married in 1972 and eventually moved to West Chester Township. She loved travelling and going on cruises. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved flowers, collecting owls and UK basketball.

Visitation will be held on October 29, 2025 from 10am-11am at Hodapp Funeral Home located at 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Rd., West Chester, Oh 45169. The funeral will be at 11am followed by a procession to Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason.
