Thomas A. Deddens

Thomas Deddens, age 89, passed away peacefully on June 19th, 2026 at The Alois after a brief illness. He was the son of George and Ann Deddens. He graduated from Purcell High School and The University of Cincinnati with a business administration degree. Tom was employed by Mead Container Corp. in Chillicothe, Ohio. Later he was the owner of the Hickory Farms Franchise. In retirement, Tom was very active in the Cincinnati Bridge Association as an instructor and mentor to many beginning bridge players. He was also a member of the Northwest Cincinnati Kiwanis Club.

Tom leaves behind his sister, Ellen (Ron)Vogt, his brother, Jim, and his sister-in-law Karen. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Lee, and sister Kathleen.

Visitation will take place at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine Street. Cincinnati, OH 45216 on Friday, July 10th from 10:00 AM until the memorial service at 11:00 AM.
