Timothy was known as Tim from the moment he was born on June 25, 1975 until he passed away at a young age of 50 on December 22, 2025 in the comfort of his home in Moores Hill, IN.
He was born to Judy (Catanzaro) Blum and Roger Blum (deceased) in Cincinnati, OH. Tim was survived by his devoted mother, Judy Blum, his siblings Gina Blum & Frank Poindester, Christopher (Chris) & Tracy (Musick) Blum, Michael (Mike) & Deanna (Dee) (Johnston) Blum, and Lora Blum as well as all of his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and countless family members that he spent his 50 precious years making a lifetime of memories with together.
As a child growing up, he truly enjoyed spending time with his grandparents, Martha & Pete Catanzaro and Clara & John Blum, (all who preceded him in death.)
Tim lived his early life in Cincinnati, OH attending St. Bartholomew Grade School, and Roger Bacon High School. Later he moved to Indiana.
From an early age Tim learned and enjoyed the value of hard work and spent many summers under the tutelage of his cousin, Henry (Skip) Gilmore who taught him everything about commercial / residential maintenance, roofing, painting, plumbing and more. After graduation he worked for The Geiler Company and later, Norwood City Schools. While actively employed, he pursued and earned his Contractors (Master) Plumbing License.
Tim was a member of the Plumbers / Pipefitters and Mechanical Service Union Local 392. He was very involved for years with the Sons of The American Legion where he had been elected President at one time. Tim loved the great outdoors and his dogs.
Most of all, Tim will be remembered by the genuinely happy smile he always had on his face and shared with everyone he knew and met. Though he may be gone from our sight, Tim will live forever in the timeless treasures of our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 9, 2026 at St. Bartholomew Church 9375 Winton Rd. Cincinnati, OH from 10:00 AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association or SAAP (Stray Animal Adoption Program)
