Toni Rae Hancock (nee Maringer)

Toni Rae Hancock (nee Maringer), age 78, passed away peacefully, July 15, 2025, due to complications of diabetes. She was born on January 5, 1947, in Covington, Kentucky to Ray and Maxine Maringer. She married her loving husband of 54 years, Joseph P. Hancock, in December of 1970. Toni loved people and for many years worked in a variety of medical offices helping patients and their families and so enjoyed going out socially with her very close girlfriends of many years. In recent years, Toni was an active member of Bona Court #8 of the Syrian Shrine as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Madonna Council K of C. Toni loved animals and was rarely at home without a dog by her side. Toni was preceded in death by her first-born son, Gregory S. Hancock; her parents; and her loving sister, Kathy Hoerst. She is survived by her son, Bradly M. Hancock; Greg’s son and her Darlin’, Alex (Ashley) Hancock and her great grandson, Camden Hancock; her dear niece and nephew, Amy Hoerst and Nathan Hoerst; stepson John (Lisa) Hancock and his children, Amber and John Jr, as well as other in-laws, relatives and friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Church of the Assumption, 7711 Joseph St, Cincinnati, OH 45231 on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
