Virginia Galvin

GALVIN, Virginia Lorraine, 87, of Liberty Twp., Ohio passed away on April 17, 2026. Lorraine was born on August 9, 1938 in Hindman, Kentucky to Johnie and Bethel Parks. She was a devoted mom, daughter, grandma, sister and aunt who was known for loving her family, her strength, kindness and her sense of humor.

Lorraine loved music, bowling, and once was on a bowling league for years. She loved animals, and she was a cherished Caregiver to many as part of her job.

Lorraine is survived by her son Terry L. Johnson (Kathy), daughter Tammy Johnson Winkler (Dallas), a special niece she helped raise Betty C. Morgan, grandsons Mark L. Johnson, Zachary D. Johnson (Tara) and Gabriel Q. Johnson, great-grandson Dylan J. Johnson, grand dog Maja, stepsons David E. Fisher Jr. (Kathy) and Glenn Wade (Cindy), brother Harold J. Parks (Maxine), and many nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Rainey.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald A. Galvin, her beloved daughters Sharon K. Johnson and Debra J. Johnson, brothers Jack R. Parks, Kelly C. Parks and sisters Bonnie L. Adams, Jean Wyant and Anna L. Baker and parents Johnie and Bethel Parks.

Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 10am until time of funeral service at 12 noon. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Springdale, Ohio.
