William J. Blom

BLOM, William J. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth C. "Betsy” Blom (nee Keller). Dear father of William G. (Diana Louiso) Blom and the late M. Christine Back. Father-in-law of Ronald Back. Grandfather of Allison (Adam) Linkhart, Andrew (Nellie) Blom and Alexander (Silvia) Back. Great-grandfather of Olivia Linkhart, Jack Blom, Annabelle Back and the late Gianna Blom. Dear brother of Clara (the late Norbert) Weisbrod and Paul (Marianne) Blom. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Passed away May 22, 2021 at the age of 96. William was a US Navy WWII veteran and upon returning home devotedly carried on the family business at Blom Trucking until retirement. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather that will always be remembered for his contagious laugh and warmest smile.  Visitation will take place at St. Clement Church 4536 Vine St., St. Bernard, Friday from 10AM until Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM.
