John S. Bambach

BAMBACH, JOHN S. Passed in peace on Sunday, May 17th, 2020 at the age of 83. Preceded in death by his parents, John P. Bambach and Elizabeth A. Bambach. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Jan. He was the loving father of Susanna (Daniel) Levy, Magdalena (Stephen) Chitwood, Bryan (Jennifer) Bambach and Martina (Zachary) Weber. Proud grandfather of Jessica, Emily, Stephen, Kathryn, Brooklyn, Elora, Adele and Chole. Brother of Kate (the late Ken) Gayheart, Larry (Carol) Bambach and Jim (Donna) Bambach. Further survived by his nieces, nephews, and other close relatives and friends. John will fondly be remembered by family and friends as a loving father, proud grandfather, jokester, kind soul, his ability to connect with others, great advisor, proud patriot, heroic and brave US Navy veteran of the U.S.S. O’Hare.
