Ernest D. Moody Sr

July 15, 1944 — October 13, 2020

Ernie was a very well liked man that lived the majority of his life in Elmwood. He loved living in the village and the people there, he was a good father/grandpa. He did the best he could at being a good husband, but he was always there for his wife Jane, and would let everyone know just how much he loved her, especially after having a few at the pub. He didn’t waste time getting back to her. She was gone only 43 days before went to be with her. Ernie liked helping all his friends out any way he could. He would give, loan and front everyone. Most of us that know him have been in that little note pad one time or another. He was known to help the less fortunate by giving a little money or even a can of ravioli. He loved to play cards, screw drivers at the pub, bet on sports and flirt with the ladies. Ernie always had plenty to say about his kids and grandchildren. If you knew him, you will definitely remember him. He was a character to say the least. He will be missed by many. Visitation is Friday October 23, from 4 to 6 P.M. at Hodapp Funeral Home in Carthage, 7401 Vine Street, Cincinnati OH, 45216.Condolences may be made at www.Hodappfuneralhome.com
