As one of the very few people you could tease with “short” jokes, I got to admit they were corny, sometimes annoying, but mostly funny.
So here’s the last one – “Life, like you and me, is just too short!”
Thanks for the laughs and may you rest in peace.
Benny was family to us. He was always there any time we had a need or loss. He was a great friend for many, many years. I will never forget him going to the nursing home and singing for my dad. He witnessed to many of my family members and was bold in his witnessing to all. He had a wonderful testimony and such a unique and outgoing personality. The last time we saw him a few weeks ago, he said he was ‘ready to go’ and I believe that! Benny’s in heaven, in the safe keeping of Jesus, and we will miss him till we meet again.
Marlyn, Beth, Cathy and Chris (and all) We are praying for you and yours. We love you and are here if you need us for anything.
His love and ours, Brenda and Ray
My deepest sympathies may God comfort you and your family,in your hour of need.
Benny worked in construction and maintenance at GE for many years. A very caring Family man who was always willing to help others. His GE family will miss him.
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. God Bless,
Tanya (L-3 Nova)
Marilyn and family, thank you for letting me know about Bennie’s untimely passing. I loved the picture of Bennie in uniform–it sure brought back Ft. Bragg 548th Engineer memories. I must say I always enjoyed his catch up phone calls. He was much more faithful with the calls than I was–but that was Bennie. I will always remember your trip to Maine when you, Bennie, and the girls came all that way in a car that was way to small–but that was Bennie. We all go through life with some regrets and I will regret not having seen your girls all grown up and the grandchilden that Bennie always took the time to bragg about. You have our deepest sympathy and we wish Bennie God speed and the best of everything for his family until you all meet again. Joe
