You may not realize it, but Allen & Rose touched my life through my parents. Allen has been a long time friend of my parents. My Mom knew him from elementary school and my Dad met him in high school. Later when they were in college Allen & Rose set my Mom & Dad up on a blind date. He & Rose also helped my parents out when our family of eight moved from FL to IN by keeping my two sisters and myself for a week… they had three or four children themselves. I didn’t make it easy on them because I cried a lot, but they were wonderful to us. My parents have always kept in touch with Allen & Rose. They came to my parents 50th Anniversary and my parents went to their 50th. I’m grateful my parents had such good friends.
