My mother is turning 90 this week, so the passing of Mrs. Friedman affects me greatly. Her son, Fr. Greg and I worked together for a year, during which we shared all the ups and downs of our respective mother’s health and well-being. I pray for blessings–for the departed and for those who remain.

Ann was such a lovely person who I was privileged to call ‘friend’. I’m certain she is now with God.

All of you have my deepest sympathy; I regret I will be unable to tell you in person.

Dam Sewell & Family - Sep 3, 2009

Our sincere sympathies and thoughts are with you at this time. She surely lived a long and rich life, and left some very fine children as part of her legacy.

Memories of your wonderful mother, Anna, is when the two of us worked on Fr. Greg’s 25th anniversary of his OFM priestly ordination invitation list. It was a day spent in her company and experiencing the excitement and love she expressed in that upcoming celebration. I also liked the way she was growing strawberries in a pot outside. She was lovely and I’m glad to have met her.

My prayers go out to you and your family.

S. Mary Paul Medland - Sep 2, 2009

I used to help take care of Larry at their home and Ann was always so gracious and such a great person to talk with…she only wanted Larry’s wellbeing. I was privileged to get to know both of them just a little bit as I helped him so she could go shopping or just get a respite time.
Sorry for your loss.

Greg and family,
I just lost my mom two weeks ago. While I know she’s in a better place, it’s still such a loss. My heart goes out to you. May God bless her — and all of you.

Sincerely,
Pat Frey
