SEAL, Anna M. (nee Korb). Beloved wife of the late Paul A. Seal. Cherished daughter of Anna and the late Henry Korb, Jr. Loving mother to Jennifer (Andrew) Riegert and Valerie (Joshua) Reinhart. Adored grandmother of Quinn, Tessa, Nora and Elias. Dear sister of Hank (the late Jo Ann), Carole (Barry), Theresa (Taylor), Jim, Jeff (Lynn), Mark (Kelly) and Amy (Tony) and sister-in-law to Ray (Kathy), Mary Helen (Bob), Bill (the late Jan). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Passed away May 3, 2019, at age 68.
Anna (Anne) was born on March 19, 1951, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati to Anna and Hank Korb. She grew up in Ross, Ohio, where she attended St. Ignatius and then St. Joseph Catholic Elementary. She graduated from Stephen T. Badin High School in Hamilton, Ohio. After high school, Anne attended Good Samaritan School of Nursing and following graduation, she worked at Fort Hamilton Hughes Memorial Hospital.
On September 15, 1973, Anna was married to her high school sweetheart, Paul Seal. Anne and Paul welcomed their first daughter, Jennifer, in 1978. They expanded their family in 1981, when they welcomed a second daughter, Valerie.
Anne worked as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and cardiac rehabilitation departments at Fort Hamilton for more than 25 years. Anna retired as a nurse case manager for United Healthcare in 2018.
One of the greatest joys of her life was spending time with family, especially her four grandchildren, Quinn, Tessa, Nora and Elias.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 330 Lebanon Street, Monroe. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences to hodappfuneralhome.com.
