I always enjoyed talking with Barb at the club art exhibits, with her great, wry sense of humor. Rest In Peace, dear.

I have known Barb since the 1960's. She was a dedicated teacher, a community activist, a skilled accountant, artist and writer and generous with her gifts and talents. She loved her city and especially Price Hill. I did not expect to see her obit in Sunday's paper.

Barbara was a friend and painting buddy! We enjoyed the challenge of painting plein air, having lunch with our painting group and sharing the results of the "joy of painting" at the end of the session.I watched her work become more of what she wanted it to be. I'm sure she was looking forward to painting in Bermuda in September. She loved going to Bermuda to paint and celebrate her birthday. She joined the Women's Art Club of Cincinnati in 2008 with much pride. I will miss her.
