Maxfield, Bobby Ray

Beloved husband of the late Peggy Sue Maxfield. Loving father of Jeffrey (Debra) Maxfield, and the late Beverly Rhea Williams. Dear grandfather of Stephanie (Mitchell) Maxfield-Williams and Logan Maxfield. Preceded in death by his parents and nine siblings. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and trapping. However, gardening was his pride and joy -- his vegetables won numerous awards at the Hamilton County Fair over many years. This caused Peggy Sue many hours of work canning his produce. Bobby passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the age of 87 while sitting outdoors on a beautiful sunny day. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice of Cincinnati or Bethany Church.

So sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful neighbor. The garden he planted was always the best. He never seen a stranger. May God Bless him and his Family. Ruby T. Mary C.

I have so many fond memories of time spent with Uncle Bob fishing, turkey shoots, and more baseball games than I can count. I am proud to be stewarding the sacred ground that the from where it all started. He is home with them all. Much love from the holler to Jeff, Debbie, Stephanie and Logon

Although he was my uncle, I didn’t know him as well as I would have liked. Thoughts and prayers for his family and friends.
