Catherine P. Denier (nee McHugh) beloved wife of the late Edward J. Denier, loving mother of Mary Ann Monteverde, Thomas (Mary) Denier, James (Angela) Denier and Elizabeth (Timothy) Duncan. Caring grandmother of Michael (Amanda) Monteverde, Thomas Dominic (Jennifer) Monteverde, Stephen (Clare Profous) Monteverde, Sarah Denier, Benjamin (Mary) Denier, Lauren (Robert) Penrod, Isabella Denier, Christina Duncan and Timothy P. Duncan. Great-grandmother of Chloe, Isabella and Maxwell. Sister of the late Sister Mary Martin McHugh, James McHugh, Ann Parker and Robert Martin. Passed away, May 4, 2021, at the age of 93.

Kate was among the first women graduates of The Cincinnati College of Pharmacy, later known as the University Of Cincinnati College Of Pharmacy. She began her career in 1950 working in the Cincinnati area. Kate’s Catholic faith and her love of family gave her great joy. She was a very proud grandmother and great grandmother.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, 2021; at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021, at St. Susanna Catholic Church 616 Reading Rd, Mason, OH 45040 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor-Cincinnati 476 Riddle Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45220.
