Carnes Clifford A. Devoted husband of Sue Carnes (nee Henson). Loving father of James Neal (Michelle Lynn) Carnes and Carrie Dawn (Charles Patrick) Carnes-Denier. Devoted pappaw of John Clifton Carnes, Tyler James Carnes, Charles Patrick “Chase” Denier Jr., Connor Joseph Denier, and Caelan Ronan “Bean” Denier. Brother of Donald (Theresa) Irvin Carnes of Newark, OH , Shirley (James) Curd, Williamsburg, Ky. Son of the late Donald Clifford Carnes and Daisy Mae Price Carnes of Williamsburg, Ky. Passed away on September 6, 2011, age 70. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home (West Chester) 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd (rt.42) Sunday from 4 pm to 7 pm. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m.
To Sue and family, my prayers and thoughts are with you as you seek comfort from above and find strength in family. Sue, it has to be hard losing your best friend. I hope it gives you some peace knowing he is at peace after battling so long and so hard .

So sad to hear of Cliff’s passing. I have very fond memories of visiting the Carne’s as a kid. Remember Cliff full of energy and with a laugh and sense of humor I will never forget. (Hee hee :0) My prayers are with Sue, Jimmy and Carrie. Know that Cliff is waiting for us in a much better place.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I am in Washington DC and will not be back until Sunday. I happen to check my e-mail from the hotel and saw the news. Please tell your family that my prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
