So sad to hear the news of Dave's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was one of the great ones. Will be greatly missed. I will always have the memories of our summers in Tomahawk and the many hockey games that we played together.

Our family was graced with being introduced to the Barlog family some 10 years ago. They've been a continued presence in our life since then. Dave was known for his quick humor, his friendliness and his genuine decency. The family was late for every event because Dave was busy at home preparing food with precision detail. And the food never disappointed. Thank you Dave, for allowing us to call you our friend. Your girls will be well looked after, you can rest assured.

We loved spending hours on sidelines with Dave chatting about soccer and life. Dave always had a beaming smile. He loved to watch the girls play soccer and you could tell how proud he was of them. Our hearts are so heavy now but I know he will be with all of us on the sidelines cheering! We will carry his enthusiasm forward. Love always, The Smith family
