BODE David Mark, dearly beloved husband of 65 years to Carolyn (nee Wetzeler). Father of David Grant Bode and Rebecca Bode Dekker (Stuart). Grandfather of 7: Sarah Bode Sanden (Nolan), Lindsey Dekker (fiancé Joseph Simoes), Amy Bode Zonker (Chris), Christian Dekker, Collin Dekker, Evan Dekker and the late Naomi Dekker. Great-grandfather of Carolyn Sanden. Brother-in-law of Phyllis Goodpastor Bode. Brother of the late William and Richard Bode. Also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and friends. Passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the age of 90. David graduated from the University of Cincinnati as a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He was an architect specializing in hospital design. David and Carolyn lived at Otterbein Senior Life in Lebanon, Ohio. Visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., on Monday, Aug. 8 from 10:30am until time of funeral service at 12 noon. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Otterbein Benevolent Fund or to the Parkinson’s Research Foundation.
