COOPER, Deena K. (nee Swafford), loving wife of Bubba Cooper. Dear mother of John Marks, Jamye Marks and Tobi Cooper. Grandmother of Kamden Gaines. Daughter of Harold and the late Pamela Swafford. Sister of Mike and Kevin (Shelia) Swafford. Granddaughter of Carol Norman and the late Lester Vaughn Norman. Daughter-in-law of Barb and Ken Cooper. Suddenly, Friday, September 11, 2009, age 41. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, on Monday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service Tuesday 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The Ladies Auxiliary F.O.E. Aerie #1095 Reading will have a memorial service Monday at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
In spite of the pain of these days, may your memories be sweet your heart be at peace. We share them with you and will be here for you.
We are so sad for the loss of our neighbor and friend. Things won’t be the same in our neighborhood.
There are no words to express my sympathy to each of the family & extended family & friends. I am blessed that Deena was in my life, I can close my eyes & see her smile, I hear her laughter. She was very special to me & my heart is broken. My prayers are with each of you.

I was so saddened to hear the news about Deena. Please know my condolences and prayers go out to all of you. I had such a wonderful time with the family in Paragon and Deena was such a doll and seemed to have so much fun with us all. Life is very precious, therefore we should cherish every moment while we can. I will keep you all in my prayers.

I met Deena for the first time in fourth grade. We became best friends from the start. Deena has touch my heart and my world has been a better place because of her.
