SCHUERMANN, Dolores Marie "Doe" (Gottwald), age 76 of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away Tuesday September 14, 2021 peacefully in her home amongst family.

Loving wife to Robert Francis Schuermann, mother of Robert J. (Kelli) Schuermann, Mark (Brandi) Schuermann, Amy (Daniel) Schneider, and Mary (Christopher) Kuhlman.  Grandmother to Grant, Alec, Corinne, Mason, Craig, Carter, Madison, Zachary, Hayes and Samantha.  Called “Aunt Doe” by her numerous nephews and nieces.

Doe was a devote Catholic who lived life to the fullest, and always put family first. She especially cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, as well as traveling to any beach to put her feet in the sand, face in the sun and watch the beautiful blue waves.

Born December 29, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Married 56 years

Preceded in death by her father Joseph Gottwald, mother Lucille Gottwald, and sisters Catherine (Gottwald) Buchheit, and Irene (Gottwald) Berhorst.

She worked at St. Leonard’s Center in Centerville, Ohio for 20 years retiring as 2007 as Human Resource Director.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd. Liberty Township, Ohio 45044.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 12 Noon, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 5720 Hamilton Mason Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45011.

Entombment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery immediately following Mass of Christian Burial.

Doe’s smile warmed my heart, her faithfulness was an inspiration, we spent many years together worshipping and serving at St. Leonard Faith Community as well as Cursillo. Heaven has gained another faithful servant. Prayers being said for your whole family.
