Doris Marie Hubbs was born on June 20, 1934 in Jackson County, Kentucky; the daughter of the late Andy May and Opal McGee May.  She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lee Kollstedt and husband Marty of Fairfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Lydia Kelley and husband Bobby of Fairfield Township, Ohio; and Wesley Kollstedt and wife Seane’ of Hamilton, Ohio; six great-grandchildren, Avery, Marlee, Kinley, and Camree Kollstedt; Brynlee Rose Kelley and Izzy Kelley. She is also survived by her fur baby, Tommy Lee.  She is preceded in death by a brother, Albert J. May, her in laws, Ethel May,  Euna and Ed Simpson, Marte and James Cartist Hill, Pauline and Morris Eckles, Geraldine and John O’Boyle, Johnnie and McKinley Smith.

Beloved mother of Brenda L. Hubbs Kollstedt left her earthly home July 10, 2021 at her home unexpectedly.  She gained her heavenly home to join my Dad, James Hubbs that departed in 1999. Mom was my Angel on Earth, my best friend, love of my life and someone I could call day or night, which I did regularly.  Mom to many of my friends growing up, cook, chef to travelers, family passing through London, Kentucky.  After she retired and moved from Hamilton, Ohio in 1982, Doris aka(mom) worked at the age of eighteen when she left Annville, her birth home.  Working at Champion Papers for many years, Pillsbury, Bright O’Metals and Avon Distribution Sharonville.  Excellent packer/sorter which was primarily her positions.  Friend, neighbor to many on Falls Street, loved by all.  Attended Soul’s Harbour Church.  May God bless her with many crowns, she is so deserving.  Mom, until we meet again, I love you.

- Your Daughter
