Earl Botkin

Earl Botkin, beloved husband of the late Dorothy Botkin (nee Settle), Went to Heaven at 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Age 96 years. Earl is survived by his son Gary (Sandra) Botkin, his daughter Peggy (Mike) King, a grandson Rev. John (Melinda) Botkin, granddaughter Annie (Justen) Dennis, and five great grandchildren, Joshua, Rebekah, David, Ronin and Elizabeth. Brother of Joy (David) Henry. Earl was born August 4, 1925. He served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. Participated in the Battle of Okinawa and was Honorably discharged in April 1946. Was ordained in the Gospel Ministry, SBC. Served various churches in the Ohio and Northern Kentucky areas as well as working with the North Bend Association in various areas. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Queen City Hospice.
