Ethan Honnaker

d. January 22, 2012

Ethan Alex Honnaker Our sweet boy, Ethan Honnaker, was born March 6, 1993 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ethan’s beautiful life was suddenly cut short on Sunday, January 22, 2012, just 45 days shy of his 19th birthday. Ethan had the typical exuberance of an 18 year old boy, working on graduating from high school, applying for jobs and school, making plans to practice parallel parking so he could get his driver’s license, helping his grandmothers at their print shop and home. He was a sweet, interested, inquisitive young child, a boy with a good heart, and smiling face. Ethan was transitioning into manhood and independence – and he was happy. Ethan loved singing. He walked around the house crooning Aaron Neville, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and portions of “Carmina Burana” which he learned and performed with the Lakota West Chorale. Those who knew him will remember his ready smile, his well spoken and gentle manner, and his eagerness to please and lend a helping hand. Ethan was a good person, with a good heart. He will mournfully be missed, but for a little while. Ethan leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Emily [Honnaker] Mullins; his father, Patrick W. Mullins; his devoted great-grandmother, Ruth [Butsch] Duffy; great-grandfather, William Honnaker; grandmother, Janet Duffy Honnaker; aunts, Monica [Guillermo] Lopez and Lydia [Alberto] Ramirez; close cousins, Isabella and Olivia Lopez, Susanna Duffy, Chloe Honnaker, Alicia Ramirez, uncles Donald, William, John, Joseph, David, Brion Duffy and Richard Butsch; great aunt, Betty Wolfe; cousin, Jeff Wolfe. Also paternal grandmother, Laquata Kidd; uncles Terry and Jesse Mullins; aunt Emily Mullins; brothers, Joshua Warman, Christopher Kidd, sisters Chassidy Kidd, Alicia and Katie Mullins. Ethan has left a warm affection in the broken hearts of his family and friends. We love you, Ethan, and miss you dearly. We look forward to Jehovah’s promise for the future and the hope of the resurrection based on the ransom provision of His son, Christ Jesus.
