HENRY, Florence L (nee Sexton), 98 passed away January 26, 2022. She was known to many as "Granny" and was one of the feistiest gals around. She had several “loves” in her life – her family, her pets, antiques, biscuits and gravy, garage sales, strawberry milk shakes and many activities. She was a Ford Motor Company retiree and spent her retirement years keeping busy with all kinds of projects.

Florence was the dear mother of Barbara Nickels (the late Emory) and the late George "Tommy" Simmons. Beloved Grandmother of Mike Nickels, Mitch (Jill) Nickels, Patricia Nickels, Karen (Brad) Rudolph and Paula (Kinnie) Baugh and Great Grandmother of Erin Trude, Nicole Pape, Jamie Nickels (Clint), Tracy Keeton, Kellie Nickels, and Kyle Baugh. She is also survived by two GREAT, GREAT grandsons and two granddaughters. She held a very special place in her heart for her nephew Jason Henry and his wife Paige. Florence’s family would like to thank two very special people in her life the last several years – Hazel – her best buddy at Otterbein that kept a close eye on her and was a great friend. And a very special nurse, Laurel that spoiled her all the time with love, candy and other treats! She is preceded in death by her husband, James Henry, one sister, Ruth and two brothers Harold and Clarence. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 from 10 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11 AM. Burial will be held Wednesday, 11am, at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
