I found out late about Hank’s passing. I worked for Hank at Besl’s from 1972 thru 1977. I have thought about Hank many times as the years have passed. I want to tell a story. My wife was about to have our first child. Center Hill bank denied me a loan. Hank called and told the manager if I did not pay the loan, he would. I got the loan. I have never forgot his kindness. God Bless to you all.
Please accept our sincere sympathy on the passing of your husband. You may not remember the Diss family on Marshall Avenue, but I can still remember my mother’s pleasant reaction when she would receive your family’s Christmas cards those many years ago. I often think of the Merz family since I still have the home on Marshall – my youngest son lives there now and my daughter lives in the Wernke house.
May God bless you and comfort you and your family now and always.
Sincerely, William (Leroy) Diss and family
