Gabriel Joseph Koury

Gabriel Joseph Koury born 8-12-1922 in Michigan City, IN was called home on 4-25-2022 on his 69^th wedding anniversary to his beloved wife, Irene. He is the cherished father of Diane, Brian and Jeff Koury, dearest Poppa to Gabrielle and Alexandra Koury, best brother-in-law, unsurpassed uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle and fierce friend to those who loved him. He served in WWII (Navy Airforce), graduated from Purdue University and retired as a special field agent for USF&G.  He was a great man, athlete and sports fan who loved all animals and the beauty of nature, especially the Indiana Dunes. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society, OAR or Save the Dunes Conservation Fund. Memorial services are on May 2, 2022: Visitation at 10:30am with funeral Mass at 11:30am (St. Vivian’s Church, 7600 Winton Rd).
