Herbert E. Wheeler, 77, of Colerain Township, passed away suddenly at his residence on Father’s Day, June 19th, 2022, surrounded by his wife and daughters.

Herb was born on July 28, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH, son of David and Laverne Wheeler.

He was beloved husband of Deborah (Colwell) Wheeler, adoring father of Kimberly Wheeler, Melanie (Keith) Murray, Melissa (Charlie) Wheeler Stout. He was the loving grandpa of six grandsons, Jacob (Grace) Campbell, Benjamin Campbell, Ethan Stout, Emmett Teas, Alex Ferguson and Nathan Teas.

His career path took him from junior accountant to proud Teamster truck driver for over 40 years before retiring and assuming his role of full-time grandpa.

He was doting grandpa, crossword and daily Jumble solver, avid poker player and ever-striving techy. Even in his failing health, his kind, generous and loving heart never wavered.

He was our rock and our legend and will forever be missed.

A visitation will be held on Friday June 24, 2022 from 4-6 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Avenue, College Hill, 45224.
