Hilda Gertrude Ball Boyer, 92, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020, at the Hawthorn Glen Nursing Home in Monroe, Ohio.
Hilda was born on April 13, 1927 in Nash County, North Carolina to Jesse C. Ball and Mary Wester Ball. During her lifetime, Hilda worked for the Post Office in Cherry Point, North Carolina. She worked at the Kiddie College Daycare at Landmark Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Hilda also worked as a secretary at Landmark Church with the Landmark Memorial Gardens, along with her husband, Arthur Boyer. While living in Florida for 26 years, Hilda worked at a daycare facility. She had a tremendous love for taking care of children.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Boyer, Sr., son, Arthur Boyer, Jr., daughter, Mary Kathryn (Larry) Powers, two grandsons, Craig and David Edwards, sisters, Ruby B. Watson and Hazel B. Kohlbecker, brothers, Maurice and Jesse Ball.
Hilda is survived by her sons, Kenneth A. Boyer and his wife, Brenda, of Middletown, Ohio, and Brian S. Boyer of Sanford, Florida. 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A Graveside service and burial for immediate family will be held Thursday, March 26, 2020, at 1:00pm, at Landmark Memorial Gardens, 1600 Glendale Milford Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45215
