Daddy, you were such a unique person. You and mom always made our friends feel like family. I remember when you would meet them you’d say “We’re a hugging family” and give them a hug instead of a handshake. You were my moral compass. I think to myself “Can I look my dad in the eye and tell him that I did this?” If I can’t then I know it issn’t the right thing to do. You were my inspiration to lead a good life, be a good husband, friend and father. Kelly and I were BLESSED with two wonderful parents. Though I grieve for you now and for always, I smile when I think of you. I smile for the memories that you gave me and weep for the ones that we’ll miss. Thank you so much for being my dad. You were always there for me and you ALWAYS made me feel special. You told me that you were happier than any man had a right to be. I don’t agree with that. If any man had a right to be that happy, it’s you. Hug mom for Ava, Aiden, Christopher, Luke, Kelly, Janice and me. Ava and Aiden don’t know it yet but they’ll miss you too. You were such a great grandfather. At least I have a picture of you feeding Aiden his yogurt. I love you with all my heart. That has never changed. It never will. I’ll keep your guitar tuned in your key.
Uncle Jack, I will never forget the sound of your voice or the look of a smile on your face. Thank you for all you taught me about life and love, and letting me grow up with you and Aunt Donna. I miss you already. Tell Aunt Donna I love her.
Until we meet again,

Love Lukie (Lucifer as you call me)
I knew Jack thru his son Mike. Jack was always full of laughs and stories. And kind words when Mike and I were trying to write and play our own music. I am glad that this past summer when Mike was visiting his Dad we were able to get out and play golf, something I know Jack loved to do. I will miss not seeing him when Mike and I have the chance to get together on the course again, but I know he’s already teeing it up up there or else he’s strumming his guitar and singing his music as only he could.
