KING, James Elmer. Jim was born on August 25, 1925 in Covington, KY. He entered into the arms of Jesus on August 15, 2011 at his home in Williamsburg, Ohio. Jim is survived by his beloved wife Ruth (Delk) and his loving children: Yelonda Brake (Thomas), Sherry McIntyre (Vernon), Dale (Alberta), Jeffrey (Valerie), Robert (Karen), Gina Hale, and Steven (Tanya). Jim was loved and adored by his twenty one grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and his four great-great grandchildren. Jim is also survived by his brother, Jack King and his sister, Geraldine Brown. Jim was stepfather to: Ernie Delk, George Delk, Barbara Engles and Debbie Ellis. He had four step grandchildren. Jim was loved and cared for by his close friends, Lillie and Bruce Bradford. Jim was a faithful and devoted member of the Eastwood Community Church of God. He loved the Lord and served him faithfully until God took him home. Jim proudly served his country during World War II as an Army Corporal T-5. After the war Jim went to work at Ford Motor Company, where he worked for thirty years before retiring as a foreman from the Sharonville plant. Please join family and friends for the visitation on Thursday, August 18th from 10 am to noon at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage. The celebration of his life will begin immediately following visitation. Jim’s final resting place will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery. Condolences to hodappfuneralhome.com
