Dear Aunt Charlotte & Family, It saddens me to hear of Uncle Jimmy passing away. We will certainly keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. He was a dear man. It has been a long time since I have seen your family but, I think of you all, Mom talks about you all often and please know we send love and support. Jane & Clarence (Shirley’s daughter & SIL)

I have to admit that I didn’t know my granduncle Jim very well. He was at my grandpa’s wedding when I was 9. Later on we corresponded and he sent me some stuff on the Barrons as I am the family historian on the Yancey line.
