Jeffrey Buell Watson passed away October 15, 2021, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio.  Jeff was born November 23, 1963, in West Liberty, Kentucky (Morgan County).  He is survived by his parents, Randy and Virginia Ann Watson (Nee Patrick), his sons, Mitchell Watson and Andrew Larison, and his daughter, Jacquelyn Nicole Pridemore (Nee Watson).  Jeff had two grandchildren – Trent William Pridemore and Harper Laine Pridemore.

Jeff is also survived by his brothers, James Watson (Emin Hadziosmanovic) of Tampa, Florida, Russ Watson (Tara Shannon Watson) of Clearwater, Florida, and his sister Jeanne Margaret (Maggie) Orr (Nee Watson) (Aaron Orr) of Columbus, Ohio.  Furthermore, Jeff is survived by niece Bailey Watson, nephews Brian, Matthew, Josh and Johnny Watson, and the youngest, Harrison Orr, plus a host of aunts, uncles and cousins galore.  Jeff took great care of his little dog, Bella, who was a faithful companion.

Jeff served honorably in the United States Air Force as well as the Ohio Army National Guard, through which he flew Cobra helicopters – one of the great accomplishments and joys of his life.

Jeff graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance.  But he grew up in West Chester with all the new construction.  He worked most of his career as a builder/inspector with the major local companies.  Jeff had many coworkers and contractors.  He was a phenomenal carpenter, framing two of his parents’ homes and in charge of a timber frame home in Mason, Ohio.

Jeff loved hunting with his friends Tyson Koch and Derek Abrevaya, as well as his uncles Jimmy and Danny Patrick.  He also loved Lake Cumberland, boating with his friend Brian Perry.

Jeff became a Christian around age 11 and was baptized at Pisgah Heights Baptist Church in Pisgah, Ohio.  He was extraordinarily loved, and he will be missed by all.

Jeff’s visitation will be held on Saturday, October 30, at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., West Chester, Ohio, 45069, from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm, with a celebration of life and military memorial service following from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.
