Johnnie Ray Ratliff

Johnnie Ray Ratliff, Age 64, of West Chester Ohio passed away peacefully February 26, 2021, surrounded by family. Johnnie was born January 3, 1957 to Mildred and Clifford Ratliff. He is preceded in death by his father Clifford, brother Bill, nephew Joe Gehler and his grandparents.

Johnnie is survived by his mother, Mildred; two children, daughter, Christie Honchell and son Jon Ratliff; two grandchildren, Kaiya and Xander Honchell; four sisters, Diane Schneider (Larry), Victoria (Steve) Gehler, Wilda Parker and Madaline Gabbard; one brother, Marvin; five nieces, Tracey (Joe) Schneider-Granello, Tonya (Pat) Erskine, Tammy Gabbard, Michelle (Mike) Klinemann, and Andrea Parker; six nephews, Justin (Laura) Ratliff, Kevin Ratliff, Keith Ratliff, Bo Gabbard, Todd (Alicia) Gabbard and Jeremi (Amy) Parker; plus ten great-nieces and 6 greatnephews.

Johnnie enjoyed the outdoors and was an exceptional friend and neighbor to many in the community where he lived. He was dearly loved by his family and for many years had been a devoted caretaker for his mother. His smile and sense of humor would light up a room His kindness and eagerness to always help others will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Road, Liberty Twp, Ohio 45044 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.  A  precession to his final resting place at Miamitown Cemetery, Miamitown, OH will take place immediately following the serivce.
