To the Carter family… We are so sorry for your loss. Your father was such a neat guy… My friends (Ken Day, Tim Burke, Joe Gelhaus, Tim Foley) and I will never forget the great times we had with Joe and your mom at your home. He always brought a smile to our faces at the Roger Bacon stags and at the St. Bernard Eagles. The last time I saw Steve was at the Cabana on the River about seven or eight years ago. Margie and I will keep all of you in our evening prayers… God bless Joe and take him to heaven to be with your Mother. Love you guys.

My sympathy to all of your family as your Dad/Grandpa now is at peace and reunited with your Mom. Remembering our many chats over the fence when I returned home to care for my Mom...we were lucky to have you as our neighbors. Holding you all in prayer.
