Pamela Hissem James - May 24, 2009

Joyce was my dear, dear friend in junior high school. We had so much fun together. I felt like part of the family, with George and Pauline inviting me to eat windmill cookies at the kitchen table. I can still see Pauline sitting at the kitchen window waiting for my arrival. Joyce and I did some really stupid things together, but it was all harmless fun. I am very sorry for her passing. Hazel & Vickie Retherford - May 24, 2009

Dear George, Pauline,Jerry, Faye, Glenn and also to her husband and son it is with our deepest sympathy that I we are sending you all this e-mail. Aunt Hazel, just called me to inform me of Joyces passing. It is truly hard to find words of comfort to any family grieving over the loss of a love one. But if I may say that we are truly blessed with loving memories and that she will always be in our hearts never forgotten.
We do have the promise of our God in Heaven and that promise I do hope will bring you comfort in your hour of grieving and that promise is ( To be absent from the body is to be present with the Father). To have this promise and to be in his loving arms , no pain or sickness anymore I truly hope that his words will give all of you comfort and peace at this time . I also know in my heart if Joyce could send you a message it would be don’t worry about me, be happy because I am in my Father in Heavens loving embrace free of pain and sickness. Love, Aunt Hazel and Vickie
