Kathie, Tom and Melissa,
I wish I could express how deeply I feel the loss of your mom and dad. They were the most loving kind people. It was an honor to have been named after her, and an inspiration to aspire to.
Truly a light has gone out in my world. I have so many memories of constant laughter and the love they showed me throughout my lifetime. Uncle Sphar and Aunt Kizzie even came to get my mom and me after I was born, to bring me home to Grandma’s in Lexington.
My thoughts are with you during this, I remember how much they loved you and how proud they were of you and your families.
With Love, Kizzie Lou
Dear Kathie and Family,
We wanted to tell you how much we thought of your dear mother. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She was a blessing to all who knew her. You, Kathie, are walking beautifully in her foot steps.
God bless you all
I knew her when we lived on Kingsley drive in the early 1960’s. She was always a good friend of my mother Mildred Gries. The last time I saw her was shortly after my Mother passed. She was a kind Lady and will be truly missed.
To Kathie, Tommy and Melissa…
My thoughts and prayers are with you today and always. Aunt Edna
To Kizzie….Thank you for being such a great big sister to me and my thoughts remember this from our childhood…”Hey Kizzie, after our usual swim at the Y, by Uncle Sam’s Real Estate offfice, I’ll meet you at Salaughan’s Drug store for our usual Limeade!”
your sis, Edna
Dearest Kathie, Marty, Kyle, Blake and Family,
We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your precious mom. Please know that you are on our hearts and in our thoughts and prayers. We will always think of your mom with the great smile that lit up her face and the joy and pride she had for her dear family. May God provide HIS greatest comfort to you and know that HE is providing your mom with HIS perfect peace! Our Love and God Bless!
I knew Kizzie for over 53 years as I went to Live with her late husband Spar’s family in 1958. Deepest sympathies to the family in these times of such great loss.
My heart is with the family though I cannot be.
Love and Sympathy.
Harold and family
Prayers for strength and peace as you grieve the death of Kizzie are being lifted for you and all the family even as I write! She was a special lady, and I know all of you will miss her smile and her laughter.
HUGS, HUGS, HUGS!!!
I am so sorry to hear the news of Kizzie’s passing. I wish I could be with all of you at this time, but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am thankful I was able to visit with Kizzie a few years back. I will miss her. All my love– Anna
Dear Kathie, Tom and Melissa,
I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was a kind and genuine person. I have many fond memories of her, one being when she first suspected she was pregnant with Melissa Lee, because she got dizzy while up on a ladder decorating the church. Another was how she always rearranged the bedrooms in the Meadow View house so that each of you could have your own personal space while growing up there. Your Mom will always live on in the memories of others, and I will not forget her.
Please know that you are in my thoughts.
And remember how much she loved you.
Fondly, Eileen Burklow Turner
We are so sorry for the loss of sweet Kizzie but glad to know that she is in the arms of a comforting and loving Father! May each of you feel His presence and allow Him to ease your pain. We love you and look forward to seeing you over the Holidays!
Kym, Shane and Vance Pelfrey
We are very saddened by Aunt Kizzie’s passing and our deepest sympathies go out to our cousins and their families. Her loving kindness will remain in our memory always.
Although Kizzie was my sister-in-law, she was more like a sister to me. She was a good mother, sister-in-law and friend. We made many wonderful memories when the Ha Ha Sisters (Kizzie, Nancy, Gladys and Becky) took trips together. Many laughs and happy times! We had to say good-bye here to Kizzie and Nancy, but heaven said hello. They will be greatly missed!
