Coyle, Lawrence Kenneth, 83 years old, resident of Mason Christian Village, Mason, Ohio. He was born February 4, 1928 to Lawrence and Goldie Coyle in Osborn, Ohio and passed away February 24, 2011, surrounded by his family. He graduated from Bath High School in Fairborn, Ohio in 1945. He was a lifelong resident of the Fairborn Ohio area until moving to Mason in 2001. Preceded in death by his parents and older brother Lloyd. Survived by loving wife Roberta (Moorehead) Coyle for 58 years. Survived by loving children; Rebecca Boggs (Keith), Phyllis Null (Jim), Michael Coyle (Sheri) and Lisa Clouse (John). Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and 3 more to be born this year, as well as one sister Winona Gwinn and brother Warren Elwood of Fairborn and Merritt Island, Florida. He was retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after serving 30 years as a civil servant. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 31 and from that time forward he served in various capacities in the church and was a lifelong student of the Scriptures, currently a member of Christ Church at Mason. He was a veteran, serving in World War II from 1946 to 1947. Raised on a farm from his youth, he became skilled in many areas, especially in the areas of carpentry and gardening, which became lifelong hobbies. He also reconditioned antique player pianos. Visitation will be held at Christ’s Church at Mason, 5165 Western Row Rd., Mason, Monday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Valley View Memorial Gardens in Dayton, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Church Evergreen Ministry or Mason Christian Village Auxiliary.
