Lawrence "Larry" E. Arend

Lawrence Erwin Arend, beloved husband of Bonnie (nee Brooks) and the late Janet (nee Geyer), son of Edward and Dolores (nee Emlich), brother of the late Thomas (Carole) and Gerald Arend.

Larry was a loving father to his sons, Scott (Sherry) and Christopher (Mary) and daughter Michele (Danny) Littlepage. Cherished grandfather of seven including Jason, Tiffany, (Devin), Nathan, Chantille (Les), Monica, Scott (Bree), and Sabrina.

Great grandfather to Jake, Dylan, Sophia, Colten, Sawyer, Aubree, and Harper.

Cherished uncle to Curt (Jennifer), Greg (Lynn), Brian (Joann) Arend, nieces and nephews.

Passed away November 6, 2021, following a short illness.

Larry retired from Cognis Corporation after 42 years of service, most recently as a Machinist. He received his certification through Cincinnati State College. Larry also held a number of volunteer roles with Dunlap Fire Department, United Steelworkers, United Way, Emery Federal Credit Union Board of Directors and as a Board President for Heritage Pointe Condominiums.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows, 330 Lebanon St., Monroe, OH 45050, on Monday, November 15, 2021, from 9 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be streamed live and can be viewed by clicking this link. Private burial of ashes will take place at Crown Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Rd., Blue Ash, OH 45242.
