Marie Johnson, 72, of Monroe, OH, died on Friday, June 19, 2020.
She was born March 1, 1948 in Sparta WI to Leonard and Sophie (Clair) Rueckheim. She graduated from Brookwood High School, Ontario WI. Marie was a dedicated wife, mother and Nanna. Marie was proud to raise her children and help raise her grandchildren. Marie loved and cared for everyone as if they were her own family. She also loved crocheting hats for the needy.
Marie is survived by husband Jerald Johnson, son Shaun (Sherrie), daughters Heather (Craig) and Tammy (Kendall), 8 grandchildren, brothers, Lyle, Lavern (Bonnie) and Paul (Cindy); sisters, Martha (Warren) Trager, Pearl Rueckheim, Loretta (Ralph) Bagstad, and Debbie Severson; she is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leonard “Sunny”, William “Billy”, Ronnie and Dean Rueckheim; sisters, Evelyn Whitehead and Vivian Rueckheim.
The family plans a private celebration of her life. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation to Hope for Haiti’s Children, 12020 Southwick Lane, Cincinnati, OH 45241 in her honor.
