Mary passed away peacefully at home on October 20, 2021 at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Robert Ahr. She is survived by her loving daughters, Denise (Mike) Haarman, Mary (Greg) Strotman, Teresa (Roger) Withers, and Cheryl (Eddie) Kallmeyer. Also survived by her grandchildren, Ben Haarman, Bethany Haarman, Kyle (Becky) Strotman, Brandon (Tianna) Strotman, Eric (Rebecca) Strotman, Emily (Andy) Schaefer, Chad (Danielle) Withers, and Katlin Kallmeyer. She was also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Wood and Carol Stuhreyer. She leaves behind sisters, Lucy Hulsman and Donna St. Clair.
On October 30, 2021, the visitation will begin 12 p.m., followed by mass at 1 p.m. at St. Clement Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice, Oldenburg Sisters of St. Francis, Roger Bacon High School, or St. Bernard-Elmwood Place Schools.
