Mary Elizabeth (nee Logsdon) Wells, 91, of West Chester, passed away on January 20, 2020 at Birchwood Care Center, Hamilton, Ohio.
She was born on November 4, 1928 in Ottawa, IL, the daughter of the late Hillard and Marie Logsdon.
On August 26, 1947, she united in marriage with her loving husband, Rev. Roy Wells, who preceded her in death in 1988. They pastored for over 40 years in the Church of the Nazarene. Additionally, Mary was an elementary school teacher for nearly 30 years.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Janet (Stewart) Smith, of West Chester, OH, and sons, Marvin (Joy) Wells, of Franklin, TN and Randall (Debra) Wells, of Blacklick, OH: grandchildren, Anita Wheeler, Dawn (Javier) Gonzalez, Lindi (Nate) Martsolf, Kellie (Chris) Berlean, and Daren (Jennifer) Wells: and great-grandchildren, Aaron and Xavier Gonzalez, Jude, Asher and Simon Martsolf, Emma, Abigail and Olivia Berlean, Isaac and Caleb Wells.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Glenn.
A Funeral Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25 at 9:30am at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42), West Chester until time of service at 10:30 AM with Pastor Dale Wine officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery, West Chester Township, OH.
