Mary Ellen Raleigh passed away on October 1, 2021, with her family by her side. She was 63 years young and fought a courageous battle against stomach cancer until the end.
Mary was born on November 24, 1957, to late George and Ellen Bode. She had a wonderful childhood surrounded by siblings George Bode (late Maureen Rohe), late Marlene Schwab, John Bode (Pegge Crabtree), late Steve Bode, Susan Ball (Ron), and Jeanine Scheidler (Gary).
To know Mary is to love her. She always had the ability to bring joy and a smile to anyone she met. She was a loving Wife, Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Sister, and Friend. Mary held a successful career at Proctor and Gamble for 31 years. She was loved by all. She was our ‘Angel Fish.’
Mary is survived by her husband Patrick Raleigh of 40 years, and children Matt, Ben (April), and Sarah (Mike Pruitt). She will lovingly be remembered by her grandchildren late Mischa, Annabelle, Jackson, Jase, Luke, Knox, and Julianna. Visitation will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, at Hodapp Funeral Home 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd. Liberty Twp., OH 45044 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church 11144 Spinner Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45241. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
