What a special woman Penny was to all her family and friends. It’s amazing the impact that some people have on our lives. Even though I only met her a couple times through family events (weddings and baby showers), you could see it in her face, how proud she was of her family. Your memories with her will last forever. Cherish those moments.
We are so sorry to about your loss. Penny was a very kind and sweet lady. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet her when we were building our houses together. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I will always remember Penny’s kindness in every word that she spoke and thing that she made. From the thin apple peals she use to have everywhere in the house, the baby basket arrangement in my girl’s room, and how she taught Betsey to cook!I will not lie, I am mad that she was taken so fast, however know in my heart there was a reason.
Dear Rick, Gina, Wendy, and Betsy,
It has been a long time since we have seen you all, but please know that Tammy and I are both praying that God,s grace and all of your great family memories will fill this time of grief. We will remind all the family here in Lima to hold you up in prayer.

Out thouhts, prayers and condolences are with you all. It is such a shock to have someone you love and are close to taken unexpectedly, and at first it doesn’t seem real. Then the shock is replaced by sadness and grief, and the grieving process can take a very long time and can be very painful. Give yourself permission to feel and be whatever it is you’re inclined toward for as long as you feel it. Go ahead and stare out the window all morning if you want to. Let yourselves have as long as you need, and allow yourselves to fall/rely on others and eachother. Allow/accept the help and nurturing offered as it blesses both you and the person who wants to help, and take comfort in memories, significant music, treasured belongings, times of prayer, and the love and care of friends and eachother. In Jesus’ Name, I pray for you all. Nina Wagner (Faith Community and Waters Edge UMC)

To Rick, Gina, Wendy and Betsey,
My heart is so full there is no room for many words. I am so very grateful to have spent those days 2 weeks ago with Penny. God knew….I think I knew somehow and maybe even Penny knew that those would be precious memories. Even mom knew because she encouraged me to go back that last day! I am grateful. I am thankful.
