Randolph l. Walk

Leave a message of condolence

WALK, Randolph L. 63, beloved son of the late Gene and Janet Walk, loving brother of the late Michael (Carol) Walk, & cherished Uncle of Amanda Walk. Randy suffered a diving injury in his 20’s spending the next years making the most of all he learned in rehab so that he could live on his own with support staff. He greatly appreciated the help of his rehab physician, Dr. Stephen Heis and his staff, who went beyond the call of duty many times. Randy loved his neighborhood, local friends and looked forward to good weather and local summer festivals.  He was funny enough to be a stand-up comic, provided lots of amusing or biting commentary on politics or the Medicare system, and loved a good steak and a fine wine to enjoy while watching 60 Minutes. Thanks to those who stayed in touch until he slept away on Friday January 3, 2020. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave, College Hill 45224 on Monday, January 13 from 10 until service at 11 AM. Condolences at hodappfuneralhome.com

Randy would understand this message and now as I can no longer even hear his voicemail I cannot hear his voice. He knows how things are with me and I cannot even leave work - for his service. I am so sad and hurt. I wish I had been a better friend. I really did try. You will be so missed. No one was as compassionate and understanding with me as he was.

Glad to see the note above from an old friend. Randy never forgot those he got to spend real time with. I was one of his nurses for years and I will never forget his determination to keep going through struggles.

Randy was a long time college buddy of mine. I have many fond memories of he and I exploring downtown Cincinnati and dining in fine restaurants. He was a most loyal friend. I prayed many years for him. He will be missed.
