IRWIN, Raymond J. Loving husband of Jane Irwin. Dear father of Jennifer (Seth) Hartig, Ryan and Kevin Irwin. Grandfather of Avery Hartig. Son of Aurelia and the late Richard Irwin. Brother of Michael (Arni) and Russ Irwin. Son-in-law of Lois Glindmeyer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at the age of 59. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Route 42), West Chester, OH 45069 on Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial at St. John Church, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., West Chester, OH 45069 on Thursday, February 23, at 10 a.m. Mr. Irwin was President of St. Johnâ€™s Booster Organization and dedicated volunteer and coach for the LSO. Memorials can be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263. **PLEASE NOTE**: PART OF ROUTE 42 IS CLOSED IN WEST CHESTER: Going North, Rt. 42 is open to Funeral Home. However, if going South on Route 42: Turn Right on Western Row which becomes Barrett, then Left on Cox, and Left on Route 42, Funeral Home is located one-half mile on Left.
Ray was my boss at Sun Chemical and he hired me on there. He was a good man. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

I was so saddened to hear of Ray’s passing. I can only imagine how difficult the last few weeks have been. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Jane – so proud to call you friend. What an example to all of us – strength, devotion, love. May each day bring you peace.
I worked with Ray for the years he was at Sun. He will be missed.

Dear Irwin Family,
I met Ray for first time in early 2007 at our Cincinnati office while working on company initiatives together. Ray was a consciences worker and he and I had some good times when I was in Cinci.
I am saddened to hear of Ray’s passing. Please accept my sincere sympathy and my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this most difficult time.
