We met Ray through his loving wife Kathy. My favorite memories are when we would meet at Angela and Charlie’s (his in-laws). We would all talk and laugh and reminisce. Ray would listen to stories and then throw a few zingers in. We were blessed to know him. Rest in peace Ray and give everyone a hug for us. Bob and Melissa Lohman

Ray Pelzel, Was one of my work brothers. That shared a special space in my work life. In my early years working in television before Ray left channel 19, When I had a question on the cart machines or the audio patch panels it was like going to school. He made sure that I understood how the patch panel worked. I remembered how excited he was when he adopted his son and when he and Kathy were married. Those are good memories for me. Sad to hear of his passing. My Deepest Sympathy.
